How much does a permanent lighting install usually cost?

Most residential permanent outdoor lighting projects range from $1,800-$6,500 depending on the size of the house, if you want tracks, and complexity of the install. We give exact quotes after a quick site review or photos.

How do payments work?

For most installs we take a 50% deposit to order materials. The remaining balance is due on the day of completion (usually within a few days after the shipment arrives). Shipping takes 1–2 weeks, and most installs are completed in one day. Console and GPU repairs require full payment upfront. Pay in full upfront and receive a discount. Payment plans are available through Affirm for PC builds after a passed credit check.

Are you insured?

Yes. We are fully insured with general liability coverage. Installations include a 60-day workmanship warranty. We will fix any install-related issues at no charge during that time. We also handle product warranties for you (we manage the claims and replacements). Product warranties cover the equipment only, not labor.

How long does a typical install take?

Most jobs are completed in one day. Larger or more complex projects may take up to three days.

Do you serve my area?

We primarily serve Fort Morgan and the surrounding Northeast Colorado area (within about a 50-mile radius). Send us your location and we’ll confirm if we can help.

Francisco owns and runs Smart Installs, LLC. After years of working with technology, electrical systems, and custom builds, he turned that experience into a local business focused on permanent lighting, security cameras, Starlink and internet optimization, and console/GPU repairs.

When Francisco was young, his family was robbed while they were away. Seeing how it affected his parents and siblings is part of why he treats every install with high attention to detail and takes real pride in the work, whether it’s security cameras, permanent lighting, or anything else. He also tries to do work that reflects what he believes.

He handles every job personally with a team of trained technicians from different backgrounds and stands behind the work with a 60-day workmanship warranty. As the business grows, he wants to create steady local jobs so the team can support their families while making Morgan County and the surrounding areas safer and more enjoyable. The goal is simple: reliable installs done right the first time, with clear communication and no runaround.
